Ground Hogs are notorious jedi warriors. If they say spring is another six weeks away then you bet you ass it is.

SO I beat Mass Effect 2 over last weekend. Best game I've everplayed. Every character in your party has a unique set of skills meaning you actually use them all fairly frequently, plus they all have fleshed out pasts which explain why they are who they are. The game plays a lot like Gears of War or Uncharted(so im told, never played that game), meaning that the action is fast and frantic and cover and coordunation with you two squadmates is essential.

But while the combat is fun, the meat of the game comes from conversations with the universes hundreds of inhabitants. To sum it up in most conversations you have the option to be a nice guy(Paragon) or a thug(Renegade) with different outcomes and dialog depending on your choice. Its not quite like Light side Dark side, its more like Good Cop, Bad Cop. Some of the dialoge is truly hilarious and at certaint points you have to option of interrupting the conversation in either a nice, or rude way. My personal favorite involves throwing a guy out a window after he refuses to cooperate.

Any ways this game is a 11 out of 10 in my book, but you better play the first one before starting the second. While the second is a much much better game you will miss lots of story if you dont play the origonal, Plus once you beat the first game you can import your charactor into the second game, so all those important choices you made in ME1 will play either a major or minor roll in ME2.

So whats up with everyone? Im feeling alot better and am doing well despite things. I have made a ton of new friends on campus and look forwards to kicking ass and taking names here at IUP. The only thing that can stop me is my History proffessor who said that we can only miss 6 days of class which Im pretty sure I have. I bet I can talk ot him and explain how I was sick with swine flu etc and that he will pardon me. If not oh shit, nothing more I can do. I started fighting in a club and now I am very sore. I like 2 handed blue and need to learn to work the angles. Im pretty loopy right now. Beats how I was feeling last night though.

Ok so I am tired of thinging about whats been on my mind so I decided to write about two different things.

        First up Dissidia Final Fantasy. Awsome game. I just unlocked Judge Gabaranth last night. He is the hardest (most time consuming) unlockable in the game excluding the best armor and weapons. The game is hard to describe but I would call it Super Smash Bros meets Final Fantasty. The game is focused on 1 on 1 duels between the characters in the franchise. There are 22 characters in total 2 from games 1-10 and 1 from 11 and 12. What really seperates the game from Super Smash Bros is the rpg elements. First off you start at lvl and work you way to 100. Along the way you learn new moves and abilitys. You can also buy equipment and accesorys to augment your character. As far as characters go each one is pretty faithful to the origonal.  Cloud uses his Buste sword and excels at knocking people around, while his counterpart, Sephy combines fast swordplay with incredible reach. Each character feels unique, you dont have any "clones" like in brawl.

        As for my complaints, there are only a few. Despite the large roster I still feel that there just arent enough characters. This while change when the sequel is announced ( there had better be one, this game is too good not to have one). For some reason the voice acting is a bit wierd. Some characters have slight but annoying pauses in their speech. This is most noticable with Cloud. Seriously he talks like he has a speech impediment. Next I want 2 vs 2. As I mentioned earlier the game only allows for one vs one and you can tell the system in built around this. In the sequel I hope they change this. Lastly the most minor one is that I want more/better alternate costumes. For this case I will use Cloud af Tidus. Clouds normal costume is him form the origonal games while his alternate costume is his Advent Children look. Its a big change, his hair is different and even his weapon cosmeticly changes to fit the new look. Tidus on the other hand just gets a recolor. Thats it. I know its based on his apperance in X-2 but come on be creative, make something new!

        All and all this is an incredible game, a must have for any psp owner or Final Fantasy fan.


      On to the second topic MMOs. I cant live with them and I cant live with out them. Currently I play Aion which just launched a little over a week ago.  Over all its ok, too early to pass final judgment on it. However I have noticed some pros and cons to it. First off let me tell you the game looks great. The graphics are far beyond any mmo on the market these days. I wont get into details but it reallly does look great. Another pro is the combat, at least for melee characters. In a lot of games melee characters get the shaft in terms of skill animations. Not so in Aion. Each skill has its own animation and some of them even interact with the taget in interesting ways. For example on my gladiator I have a move called explosion of rage. When I use it, I impale my target on my polearm swing them around and bring them smashing to the groud at my feet. In most mmos that would just be the description but in Aion thats what you see. On the con side the game feels harsh. You die you lose exp and have to buy it back. Money is hard to gain and easy to lose. Back to the topic of death, when you die you oftain find yourself teleported half way across the map, nowhere near where you died.

Its still to early to tell, but at times I feel myself missing WoW when I play. But any game with Tutty and Mud Ribbits is epic in m ybook so I will stick it out a bit longer

AMA was ok.

I stayed in a room with nine other people. At least I got a bed. I wish I had a cosplay. I'm too lazy to make one. Kaitlan was a pokemon She got me two shiny pokemons. Con goers are weird, there are lots of freaky people there. Most of the cosplayers sucked. The hot tub was nice. I got a swimsuit.

I'm an adult now. That sucks. I should have gone to Neverland when I had the chance.

Hi everyone! I havent been on in a while so im going to do a long post. Ill break it up into segments

So yesterday was my senior field trip to king's dominion. It was fun. Guess who just happened to show up? Kaitlan! Ok ok so it was planned but it was still fun to hang out with both my school friends and friends from not school. The rides were fun and the water park ws a blast. This has gotten me thinking. Would anyone else want to do a 3 day trip to Hershey Park? I've done it before and I think Hershey park is the best one with in driving distance. We would drive up earlyish one day and have the afternoon and evening to go to the park ( if people were interested we would do the chocolate factory tour on the first day) The second day woul dbe spent at the park and we would drive back the next day. Anyways if your interested let either Kaitlan or I know. Nothing has been scedualed yet but I think it woul dbe best to do it in the middle of the week ( drive there monday or tuesday and drive back wensesday or thursday.

Im getting ready to go to Kaitlans graduation. It will be nice to see her graduate, but I hope it doesnt take 4 hours.

Finnaly for any of you out there who enjoy mmorpgs Ive been tracking an up coming one called Aion. Anyways I plan on trying it if anyone else wants to as well.

So I just got back from my spring break trip to Utah with Kaitlan. It was really fun even though KK got sicki sick :< Apparently Ive been yodeling in my sleep and making other bizarre noises. Sorry Kaitlan. She is never going to let me live this down.

Its day three of my trip to utah. Kaitlans sick :( so she didnt go skiing today. I stayed home to take care of her. It was funny the first day the air line lost one of her bags which happened to have her proactive. So for the rest of the day I had to hear about how horrible her acne was, and how many pimples she was going to get. Kaitlan sweet heart, you dont have bad acne! I've told her this dozens of time and still she worries. Girls I tell ya, they allways think they look terrible even when they look great. What wth that...

Other wise the trip was great! I've been skiing before but damn out west its a lot differnt. I though i was good, for a casual skier but the slopes out here kicked my ass. Even the easiest slopes are a challenge for me and ive fallen twice now but im getting better! Now all I have to worry about are the snow kittens
